Cycle Farms Ghana Limited, a wholly Ghanaian-owned feed production company, had the distinct honor of hosting a high-level delegation from the Embassy of Hungary and representatives from AgroFeed, a global leader in animal nutrition. The visit, held at Cycle Farms' operational facility, marked a significant milestone in advancing international cooperation in the aquafeed and animal feed industry.

The Hungarian delegation was warmly received by Mr. Wisdom Abodakpi, Chief Executive Officer of Cycle Farms, who led the engagement with a detailed presentation on the company’s vision, operational structure, and future growth trajectory. Mr. Abodakpi highlighted Cycle Farms' unwavering commitment to producing high-quality fish and animal feed tailored to local and regional markets, as well as the company’s bold ambition to scale up to a 24-hour production cycle.

During the visit, the guests commended the professionalism and enthusiasm of Cycle Farms’ predominantly youthful workforce, citing it as a model for youth-led industrial transformation in Africa. The delegation was given a guided tour of the facility, witnessing firsthand the complete production process from raw material intake to the final stages of bagging and packaging.

A key outcome of the visit was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Cycle Farms and AgroFeed, signalling a formal partnership to collaborate on feed production and distribution across Ghana and the broader ECOWAS market.

The partnership was facilitated by Governance Africa Foundation, a civic organization promoting youth empowerment and inclusive development in agriculture. The initiative has also triggered discussions between Ghana Exim Bank and Hungarian Exim Bank to explore financial bridge support. This potential funding collaboration is expected to strengthen Cycle Farms' capacity to scale operations sustainably, secure jobs, and enhance its socioeconomic impact.

Also present at the visit was the Chamber of Aquaculture Ghana, which reiterated its commitment to supporting local agribusinesses and promoting international cooperation across the aquaculture value chain.

This landmark engagement underscores a promising new chapter in Ghana–Hungary relations, fostering enhanced trade, knowledge exchange, and technological advancement in the vital agro-feed sector.

Cycle Farms Ghana and Agrofeed Hungry have confirmed their participation in the upcoming Aquaculture conference scheduled for 30th October 2025.
